Aadhi movie review

Aadhi : ( 3.0 ) 65

Action thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film stars Pranav Mohanlal in the title role. It was produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas. The principal photography took place between August and November 2017 in Kochi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

Throwing in a dollop of musical nostalgia, the makers manage to get the audience smile, right at the first frame of Aadhi. The protagonist's tale would be relatable for many talented youngsters, especially the part in which he has to continuously convince well-meaning yet frustrating apprehensions of a parent or relative about an unconventional choice of career, the plans, back-up plans and all that go with it. Pranav effortlessly portrays the soft-spoken, free-spirited Aadhi. He seems to have given his all for the numerous chasing and stunt scenes in the movie and for those who have been his fans even before his debut, he gives enough reasons to applaud and continue to stay well-liked, especially towards the climax. Jagapathi Babu adds oomph to his villainous antics every time he is on screen. A few among the supporting cast, like Anusree, Tony Luke, Meghanadan, Sijoy Varghese and Siju Wilson have done their portions convincingly.
