Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum (65) Critics : 3.0 |
Indian Malayalam language drama -thriller film directed by Dileesh Pothan and written by Sajeev Pazhoor. The film has Syam Pushkaran in the role of creative director, he also helped with additional dialogues in the screenplay.

One of the most talked about aspects of Dileesh Pothen’s debut venture Maheshinte Prathikaram was how it built a film out of an extremely thin plot, banking on everyday life and reactions. In his second outing too, the director treads the same route. Sans any heavy duty story, the movie depicts an entire world and relatable characters of its own, which keep you engaged throughout the film.
-
Fahadh Faasil’s acting potential is very well explored into, giving him scope for some peculiar, impressive expressions. Suraj too delivers a controlled performance, and never once do you feel there is an ounce of anyone other than Prasad in him. All of the other main characters, including Alencier, Nimisha and the new actors ease through their roles. The film makes you laugh with its ultra-natural and relatable bits of humour here and there, but it still isn’t an out-and-out entertainer on the whole. The movie is more of a ‘slice of life’ that you get to taste, savour and ponder on.
-
Watch Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum if you appreciate realistic cinema with some earthy characters and relatable instances.
